![]() CHRON'S DISEASE Causes of the disease: Dietary and nutritional factors: bad fats (heated, hydrogenated), refined, processed foods with many additives, preservatives, lack of fiber. Add Mega Omega for the good fats and for good fiber. Foods that irritate the intestinal lining: dairy products, high gluten foods (wheat), corn, refined foods, sugar, packaged foods, and undigested foods. Digestive enzymes will help here. Imbalance of bacteria in the intestinal track: parasites, yeast (candida overgrowth). Yeast bores holes in the intestinal track, causing undigested food to leak through. The lining becomes inflamed, and the undigested food in the bloodstream creates an immune response, compounding the problem. Good bacteria and digestive enzymes are needed. Other causes: stress, digestive problems, malabsorption, nutritional deficiencies, and constipation. You can handle stress when the body is fed wholesome foods and supplemented with nutritional support. Exercise is important. Nutritional support: Gastric Digestive Enzymes -> Take five capsules with each meal and five twice a day on an empty stomach. Do this for two weeks and then gradually replace one Gastric Enzymes with a Multiple Digestive Enzyme until they are all Multiple Digestive Enzymes. Also, take four Cellulose Enyzmes with the Gastric-Multiple dose. Commit to do this for three months. Then, the dose can be cut down, but you will always want to take them with your meals. Probiotic Blend Powder -> Take at least one teaspoon at night right before bed on an empty stomach at least one hour from last food. Commit to do this for three months. To repair the intestinal lining -> Amino Acids and Essential Fatty Acids
Eat whole foods, more raw vegetables and fruits, and whole grains when you are able. Drink lots of water. If you drink juices, they should be fresh-squeezed. Additional Support if wanted: Please email me with any questions or concerns at asknancy@bellsouth.net. Back to Health Tips
